Effectively maintain the public urban forest to preserve and enhance this valuable resource to benefit current and future generations.

ISA Logo    growth-award Tree City USA

The City of Moorhead Forestry Division has six full-time staff, four of whom are ISA certified arborists. This certification is obtained after three years of experience in the tree care industry (or a combination of experience and education), and the passage of an exam. ISA certified arborists maintain their certification by earning continuing education credits.
