The City of Moorhead is releasing the results of a 2015 cost of living analysis conducted by the accounting firm of Fiebiger Swanson West & Co. New to the financial analysis this year:
- Minnesota Homestead Credit has been included for eligible household profiles
- New construction tax incentives/rebates are calculated for each city
Information on the affordability of Moorhead's special assessments in newer neighborhoods and flood protection are also included.
The analysis is available at www.MakeMoorheadHome.com. It's also been developed into a brochure with a community map and Moorhead "Fast Facts" to assist Realtors, lenders, builders, and others who may work with prospective homebuyers.
