Post Date:04/03/2024 1:14 pm
Crossfit Teens is returning from a first-year run in 2023. With partners at Elevate Human Potential in Moorhead, teens ages 13-18 will attend fifteen CrossFit sessions and a mentoring session. The program takes place from 12:00 pm-1:45 pm Tuesdays and Thursdays in June and July. All necessary equipment is provided.

Badges for Baseball is for eleven and twelve-year-olds interested in playing baseball this summer. There is no cost for the program. The PAL program will cover the league fees for the Red River Valley League through Moorhead Youth Baseball and all equipment and uniforms. Practices and games start in May and run through July. In addition to learning the game of baseball, participants will be taught the “Badges for Baseball” curriculum to teach collaboration, cooperation, and mutual respect—volunteers from Moorhead PD and area law enforcement coach both programs. Games and practices are on weekdays. There are no weekend events or out-of-town travel for either program.

Register online at www.moorheadpal.org. Registration will remain open until filled. For additional information or questions about either program, contact scott.kostohryz@moorheadmn.gov.
