Moorhead Police responded to Larry’s RV Sales in South Moorhead at approximately 6:30 p.m. Tuesday evening in reference to a reported suspicious male. An employee reported that they had contact with a male that indicated that he was “just looking” as he walked around their property. The white male was described as approximately 20 years old with a thin build. He was wearing a black baseball style cap with green writing, gray t-shirt and blue jeans. The employee called the police to report this male for suspicious activity knowing that three weeks ago the body of Thomas Bearson was found on this property. Police responded, as well as a police k9, and were unable to locate this individual.
It is unknown who this individual is or what he was looking for. It is not believed that he committed any crimes on the property. The Moorhead Police Department appreciates the heightened awareness by this employee of reporting activity that they believed to be suspicious. The association of this suspicious activity at the location where Thomas Bearson’s body was found certainly warrants further police investigation, but no connection to the on-going homicide investigation is known at this time.
