Public Hearing Notice
Planning Commission 9/1/2021 at 5 PM
Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of Moorhead will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 5:00 pm to consider the following items:
1. Request of Prairie Hill Investments, LLC for a Vacation of Right of Way and Easements within Village Green 6th Addition described as follows:
33rd Street South
All of 33rd Street South lying between the South right-of-way line of 36th Avenue South and the North right-of way line of 39th Avenue South
10' Utility Easement
That part of the 10 foot utility easements as shown on document number 618190 described as follows:
All of the 10 foot utility easement adjoining 33rd Street South in Lots 21 thru 36 and Lots 57 thru 74, of Block 8, Village Green Sixth Addition to the City of Moorhead, Clay County, Minnesota.
All of the 10 foot utility easement lying in the South 5.00 feet of Lots 64 thru 67 and the North 5.00 feet of Lots 27 thru 30, Block 8, Village Green Sixth Addition to the City of Moorhead, Clay County, Minnesota, EXCEPTING THEREFROM, the West 5.00 feet of said Lots 30 and 64, and the East 5.00 feet of said Lots 27 and 67.
2. Request of Prairie Hill Investments, LLC for a Preliminary & Final Plat for Village Green 7th Addition (44-lot subdivision), described as follows:
Lots 21 through 36, Lots 57 through 74, and that vacated portion of 33rd Street South, All in Block 8 of Village Green Sixth Addition to the City of Moorhead, Clay County, Minnesota.
3. Request of Sterling Development Group 4, LLC for a Rezone from RMD-2: Residential Moderate Density-2 to MU-1: Downtown Mixed Use at:
801 2nd Ave N – Parcel 58.575.1870 - Lots 1 – 10, Block 72, Original Townsite Addition; and Lots 11 – 26, Block 4, Holes & Whites Addition to the City of Moorhead, Clay County, Minnesota.The meeting will be live-streamed to the City’s Homepage, on the City’s Youtube Channel and on air on Moorhead Community Access Media (MCAM) on Midco Channel 12 or Sparklight Channel 58.
At the hearing, the City of Moorhead will afford an opportunity for interested persons to be heard with respect to these items.
