Snow Plowing Update for Current Storm

Post Date:12/29/2019 11:51 am

Current Snow Plowing Focus: Snow Emergency Routes. Travel will be impacted.

The current significant winter storm is expected to last through 12 am Monday morning within the Fargo-Moorhead area. Heaviest snow accumulations will be today, Sunday, December 29.

Due to the timing of this event, residential plowing will not begin until 10 pm Sunday night and is expected to take 14 hours or more. Residents are asked to move all vehicles from streets to allow room for snow removal equipment operators the ability to navigate through areas safely and efficiently.

Travel will be impacted by this event. For safety, restrict travel unless it is an emergency and please give snow removal equipment as much room as possible as visibility is severely limited. Please be patient as crews work diligently to clear the roadways. Snow removal crews will clear the streets as quickly and safely as possible.
