Drug Search Warrant Leads to Arrests and Seized Drugs
On Wednesday, September 6, 2023, detectives with the Moorhead Police Department conducted a search warrant in the 1200 block of Belsly Boulevard. During the search warrant, officers located over 1,300 M30 Fentanyl pills with a street value of approximately $13,000. In the vicinity of the drugs were over $2,700 in cash. While conducting the warrant, two juvenile children were also present, of which Clay County Social Services was made aware.
Roberson is being held in the Clay County Correction Facility on a long-form complaint of Felony First Degree Controlled Substance and Gross Misdemeanor Child Endangerment Conspiracy. A long-form complaint has been filed requesting charges for Mendez for Felony Fifth Degree Controlled Substance and Gross Misdemeanor Child Endangerment Conspiracy.
The Clay County Sheriff's Office, Cass County, ND Drug Task Force, and the Fargo office of the ATF assisted the Moorhead Police Department.
