Welcome the festive season as we light the City of Moorhead's holiday tree with Mayor Shelly Carlson in the M. Dorian Clemedtson Memorial Sculpture Court! Enjoy music from Apollo Strings, the Moorhead High School Carolers and FMCT.
Appreciate the wintery sky with constellation maps and telescopes from the FM Astronomy Club and MSUM Planetarium. Learn about the Moorhead Business Association's Frostival Snow Sculpture Competition and enjoy free refreshments, fire pits, snow painting and postcard-writing to Santa courtesy of the UPS Store.
Take in the Story Stroll and head to the Moorhead Public Library for story time with Mrs. Claus and her elves at 6:30 pm. While you're there, linger at the holiday woodcut print exhibit by Deborahmae Broad.
Skate with Santa

Lace up your skates and enjoy free open skate with Santa and Mrs. Claus! Free hot chocolate and cookies will be served. Skate rental will be available for limited sizes.
Sleigh Rides
1-4 pm December 26, 28-29, 4-7 pm on December 27
M.B. Johnson Park
Enjoy a sleigh ride through beautiful and scenic M.B. Johnson Park, December 26-29. Holiday treats and refreshments will be available at the small shelter. Reservations will be available beginning December 1 and can be made by calling 218.299.5340. Tickets may be available on-site if space allows. Admission is $5/person (children 2 and under are free).
