Property Tax Exemption
The Multi-Family Residential Property Tax Exemption program is intended to create additional housing choice for the residents of Moorhead. Projects located outside of the Moorhead Renaissance Zone area may quality. The project must be newly constructed, a substantial expansion/rehabilitation of an existing facility or the conversion of an existing facility from a commercial or industrial use to a multi-family residential facility. Only new building improvements are eligible for the property tax exemption. Multi-family housing with health related services may be eligible for employee credits. Up to $25,000 per unit.
