The City Council will consider a second reading of Ordinance 2025-06: An Ordinance to Amending the Official Zoning Map Rezoning Parcels within Mixed Use Zoning Districts, and Parcels with Mixed Use Future Land Use Designation, and Amending and Reenacting Title 10, Chapter 18, Use Regulations on May 27, 2025.
These zoning map and text amendments are part of the Onward Moorhead! Comprehensive Plan Update, which was approved in 2022. The City is in process of updating the citywide zoning map and entire zoning code.
These zoning code updates add two family dwellings as permitted uses in MU-3 and clarifications to the zoning code for cannabis business uses.
