On May 20, 2024, at approximately 3:55 pm, The City of Moorhead Police Department responded to a violation of an Order for Protection in the 1300 block of 6 Avenue North. The order prohibited a certain person from being at the residence. Officers gathered information that the prohibited person was present in the residence. Officer at the scene were able to successfully negotiate with the individual over the phone for approximately 45 minutes. Justin Plattner (39) of Moorhead was taken into custody for violating the Order for Protection without further incident. He was transported to the Clay County Jail where he is currently held.
