New Year’s Day holiday service changes

Important service impacts:

  • City of Moorhead Offices: City offices will be closed for New Year’s Day on Thursday, January 1 and will reopen on Friday, January 2.
  • Garbage/Recycling: Thursday, January 1, garbage/recycling will be picked up on Friday, January 2. All other garbage/recycling pickup that week will be on normal days. The Thursday change may cause early or delayed collection on Friday; set your trash out by 4 am to ensure it is collected.
  • MATBUS: There will be no MATBUS or MAT Paratransit service and the Ground Transportation Center will be closed on Thursday, January 1. All services will resume January 2.
