On May 30, 2025, at approximately 1:45 PM, a crash was reported on 8 Street South just north of the Interstate 94 interchange. A vehicle travelling southbound on 8 Street collided with several vehicles before rolling onto its roof and coming to a stop just after the westbound Interstate 94 on ramp. There was significant damage to multiple vehicles and minor injuries to the occupants of the vehicle that rolled over. The 31-year-old driver of that vehicle was taken to the hospital for further evaluation. This crash is still under investigation and criminal charges are pending. Due to the ongoing investigation, no further details can be released at this time.
