This notice is to inform you of the start of the city construction project on 18 St S from 16 to 18 Ave S (click here to view map), at 7:00 am, Monday, May 19. Phase 1 (part two) roadway work is scheduled to begin and will extend the area of work in Phase 1 down to 18 Ave S. The contractor anticipates this phase of work to last 3-4 weeks, weather permitting.
Properties that are located on 18 St South between 12 Ave S and 18 Ave S will lose direct access to driveways during this construction phase. We ask that all affected addresses please utilize adjacent street parking locations outside of the designated construction area. We also ask that residents do not park directly adjacent or in front of the closures and construction signage.
Please have your vehicles removed from your garages and driveways before the start of work at 7am on Monday May 19.
Garbage collection and mail delivery will continue as normally scheduled during this portion of the work.
**Just as a reminder, individuals with disabilities or special access considerations should contact staff as soon as possible when access issues are known. The City will work with residents to meet their access needs during construction.**
You will continue to receive additional notification in advance of all impacting construction phases.
