On Sunday, January 30th, 2022, the Moorhead Police Athletics and Activities League will be hosting the 16th annual Cops and Kids hockey game. This event features law enforcement from the area in a friendly exhibition game against Moorhead Youth Hockey players ages 12-15. The game takes place at the Moorhead Sports Center at 6:30PM. Admission is free and there will be a raffle for numerous door prizes, including Fargo Force tickets, Hornbacher's gift cards and a foosball table. All funds raised will go to support PAL events like this one.
The Moorhead PAL program exists to promote positive interaction between police officers and youth. It consists of volunteers from area police agencies who donate their time to meet the non-profit's mission. PAL has been formed for the past four years and has served over 2,000 youth in that time through its annual programming.
