Public Hearing Notice

Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of Moorhead will hold a Public Hearing at the Hjemkomst Center Auditorium on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 5:30 pm to consider the following items: 

 

  1. Request of City of Moorhead for a Vacation of Right of Way within Schreibers Addition described as follows:

    The north 33 feet of right-of-way of 5th Avenue S (formerly known as South Avenue) between 20th Street S and 21st Street S (formerly known as Manitoba Avenue), adjacent to the south line of Block 50 of Schreibers Addition to the City of Moorhead except that area of Main Avenue, which was originally dedicated as Trunk Highway 231 in Section 9, MNDOT Right of Way Plat 14-3.

  2. Request of City of Moorhead for a Preliminary Plat relating to MCCARA Fifth Addition for parcels 58.900.1511, 58.900.1502 and 58.900.1504, that part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 23, Township 139 North, Range 48 West, Clay County, Minnesota lying east and south of MCCARA Fourth Addition (abbreviated description – full description available upon request). 

  3. Request of Hampton Place Development LLC for a Preliminary Plat relating to Hampton Place Fourth Addition for parcel 58.900.1726, that part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 29, Township 139 North, Range 48 West, Clay County, Minnesota lying north of Hampton Place Third Addition and west of Hampton Place First Addition (abbreviated description – full description available upon request).

At the hearing, the City of Moorhead will afford an opportunity for interested persons to be heard with respect to these items. If you cannot attend the hearing in person, see the following to make a public comment: 

1. Before Meeting: If you wish to make a comment before the meeting, you may submit oral or written comments to:

2. During Meeting: If you wish to speak virtually during the meeting, please contact Planning & Zoning - email staff or call 218.299.5374 no later than noon the day of the meeting.

The meeting will be live-streamed to the City’s Homepage, on the City’s Youtube Channel and on Moorhead Community Access Media (MCAM) - Midco Channel 12 or Sparklight Channel 58.
