Night excavation and hauling planned for SE Main|20 St|21 St Underpass Project

In order to remove soil from the temporary train tracks, night excavation and hauling will occur at the project site from November 29-December 10.

Crews will work from midnight-10 am to remove soil that is no longer needed from the site. No work will be done on December 4-5 (Saturday and Sunday).

The work will take advantage of frozen hauling routes to remove material during the night. Warm temperatures and afternoon sun thaw the frozen ground and make the routes impassable for soil hauling equipment.
