Our park system is made up of more than 40 regional, community and neighborhood parks, a variety of facilities, and miles of sidewalks and trails. All Moorhead parks are open daily 10 am-10 pm. To reserve a park shelter, visit our reservation information page.

A listing of our facilities can be found below. For a detailed map of our facilities, visit the Parks & Trails Finder section of our website.

Parks and Recreation has a number of “pay-to-play” facilities including Southside Regional Park, Centennial Athletic Fields and Matson Field. For details on using these facilities, please see our Athletic Facility Use Guide.

The Comstock House is an 1882 Victorian Home with the original furnishings of Moorhead pioneer Solomon G. Comstock. A state senator, Comstock is considered the founder of Moorhead State University, and with his wife, Sarah, was instrumental in establishing the first public library in Moorhead. Call for more information about renting the Comstock house for meetings, special occasions, or holiday events, and for tours during fall and winter.
