The goal of the study is to address issues that affect this mature neighborhood, including:
December 12, 2006 - Draft Concepts (4 sites)
As an introduction to the concept plans you will be downloading in anticipation of the meeting on
December 12th, please note these concepts are intended to illustrate several ideas for each of the potential
redevelopment sites the two groups recommended at our last meeting on November 16th. These concept
plans provide baseline ideas in regards to density and types of uses, including commercial, residential
and park.
Please remember, these concepts are ideas, not proposals for redevelopment projects. These concept
plans are not intended for adoption by the City Council. They are intended to be a starting point for
our discussion about the many possibilities and issues that each of these sites present. While a goal
of this process is to strive for a consensus, we anticipate many diverse opinions. All feedback that is
given at our upcoming meeting will be recorded.
Please review these concepts and come prepared to comment on them at the December 12th meeting. We look
forward to seeing you again and having a productive discussion.

which is scheduled for December 12th.
These draft redevelopment concepts along with other study elements will be assembled for a spring 2007
community workshop and subsequent presentation to the Moorhead Planning Commission and City Council for
their consideration. The following housing and market reports provide background for the study:
