SPECIAL ASSESSMENT COORDINATOR

THE CITY OF MOORHEAD Engineering Department is hiring a Special Assessment Coordinator to perform intermediate skilled technical work in assisting with the preparation and maintenance of special assessments, reporting and documentation for Federal and State grant programs. Education and Experience: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from a community college, with major course work in accounting, business administration, engineering technology or related field and some experience in the special assessment processes. Must have a valid driver’s license.

FIRE FIGHTER

The City of Moorhead is accepting applications for Fire Fighter positions. Qualified applicants must be 21 years of age and must be a non-tobacco user and have a valid driver’s license. Education: Associate/Technical degree with coursework in fire technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Special Requirements: Need to possess National Registered Emergency Medical Technician-Basic Certification, IFSAC or Pro-Board Firefighter I and II Certification, and HAZMAT Operations training. At time of application must provide proof of certification and training. All requirements must be current to be eligible to participate in the hiring process.
Salary range: start ($43,935.00) after 1 year ($46,356.00) after 2 years ($48,773.00)

HHIC EVENTS STAFF/MAINTENANCE
|

HJEMKOMST CENTER: Weekend Hours & Night Hours - Event Staff. Must be 21 years old. Assist in the set up and take down of events including cleaning of banquet facilities, bathrooms and general areas. Other responsibilities include opening and closing of building as well as general building security during events. Some heavy lifting is required. Weekend work required on a rotating basis with daytime and evening hours available. $8.00-$10.00 per hour, based on experience.
