Server Training

City Code Section 2-3-11-D requires managers and employees involved in the sale of alcoholic beverages at any licensed on-sale establishment serving intoxicating liquor and/or 3.2% malt liquor to attend a Server Training course.

Fargo Cass Public Health schedules and coordinates Server Training classes that are offered 4-5 times per month. The two hour classes are taught by law enforcement officers of the Police Department and other local law enforcement agencies. The classes cover the civil and criminal legal aspects of serving underage people and/or over serving intoxicated people. Participants also receive tips on identifying fraudulent identification and how to deal safely and effectively with customers who may have become impaired.

Register online for a Server Training course on the City of Fargo website.
