Road Closures Cont.
|
|
20th St. South will be closed from 12th Ave. to 18th Ave. beginning on Friday, August 28th. This road closure is expected to last until November. The segment from 18th to 24th Ave. South will remain open to local traffic for the next 2 to 3 weeks, and then will be closed as well. Provisions will be made to accommodate properties whose only access is from 20th Street. However, there will be periods of time where it will not be possible to maintain access. On your scheduled garbage/recycling days, please take your bins to the nearest corner for pick-up if the street is impassable for the garbage trucks. Please mark your bins to be identifiable from other owners. The Police Dept. has been notified, and parking restrictions will not be enforced on the side avenues within one block of 20th Street during construction.
