Burning Restrictions Lifted in the City of Moorhead

Post Date:04/21/2015 8:34 am

The City of Moorhead lifted outdoor burning restrictions effective at 8 am this morning.  All previously issued burn permits are now valid again.  Residents are reminded that open burn permits are required for anything larger than a recreational fire larger than 3 feet in diameter by 2 feet high.  Burn permits are free and available from the Moorhead Fire Department's Remley Annex at 111 12th St N.  Some restrictions apply.  Permit holders are still required to monitor forecasts and burn only during calm weather conditions; notifying the Red River Regional Dispatch Center prior to burning.
