On November 28, 2014, at 2:28 am, Moorhead Police stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. During the course of the stop, the officer found a quantity of drugs and the driver fled on foot after fighting with officers. He was able to return to his vehicle and flee the scene with a Clay County Deputy now pursuing. The vehicle entered into Fargo and was involved traffic collisions with fencing, a parked car, and then a tree. The driver fled on foot and was apprehended.
He was transported to Sanford Hospital. The driver is identified as Jason Glen Marinucci, a 29 year man from Moorhead. He is being charged with:
- 1st Degree Controlled Substance
- Felony Fleeing in a Motor Vehicle
- Obstructing Legal Process
- Fleeing on Foot
- No Proof of Insurance
- Possession of Marijuana in a Motor Vehicle
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
