Plan to Reconnect with Your Family During National Preparedness Month

Today is the first day of National Preparedness Month! This week will focus on how to reconnect with your family after a disaster. Make sure your family has a family emergency communication plan. Here are steps you can take this week:

 

 

  • Make a family emergency communication plan
  • Know how you will contact family and friends before, during, and after a disaster
  • Register and practice your preparedness actions plan on or around the National PrepareAthon! Day-September 30 2014 by visiting ready.gov's prepare page
