I-94 Red River Bridge Lane Closures Planned

Motorists on Interstate 94 over the Red River between Moorhead and Fargo, will encounter lane closures and possible delays Monday, June 1 and Tuesday, June 2, 2015.

MnDOT crews will complete maintenance work on the bridge between approximately 9:00 am - 4:00 pm each day, weather permitting.

Crews will work in the right lanes of eastbound and westbound I-94 on June 1 and left lanes on June 2.

The maintenance work includes flushing the bridge, which removes sand and other particles that collect on the bridge joints and abutments. Crews also look for any deterioration that may have occurred over the winter. The annual bridge flushing helps extend the life of the bridge.
