The victim of the September 10, 2021, homicide at 17 Street and 30 Avenue South has been identified as Abdi Mohamed Abdi, age 32, of Fargo, ND. Abdi's preliminary autopsy states he died from gunshot wounds he received during the incident.
No suspects are in custody, and this is still a very active investigation. The Moorhead Police Department, Clay County Sheriff's Office, and the MN Bureau of Apprehension are currently working on several leads and details of the incident that occurred on Friday.
