Post Date:04/28/2021 5:28 am

The Moorhead Police Athletics and Activities League will be hosting Major League Baseball's Pitch, Hit, Run and Junior Homerun Derby on Tuesday, May 4th, 2021. Interested youth between the ages of 9 and 12 can be registered with the link at www.moorheadpal.org and all participants must be registered prior to the date of competition.

All registered participants should stop by Centennial Park (north fields) located east of Highway 75 on 15th Ave North between 6pm and 8pm on May 4th. Plan on approximately twenty minutes to complete all of the events. Gloves and baseball cleats not necessary but highly recommended. Winners in each age division will be directed to a regional competition on a date and location to be named later. Regional winners could advance to a national competition at the MLB's All Star game.

Moorhead PAL is a non-profit that works with area law enforcement to build positive relationship with youth in our communities. This is the second time PAL has hosted this event in Moorhead.
