Limited attendance to be allowed at City Council meetings

The City of Moorhead -- in accordance with the State of Minnesota Stay Safe guidance pertaining to COVID-19 –- will be allowing limited attendance at City Council meetings in the Hjemkomst Center beginning March 22,2021. For these meetings:

  • Following Stay Safe guidelines, attendance for indoor events is capped at 25 percent of capacity. For the space in the Hjemkomst Center, that limit is 10-12 members of the public (including media). Seating (standing room is not allowed) will be on a first-come, first-seated basis. City of Moorhead employees will allow people into the space; once the maximum is reached, no one else may enter.
  • Masks are required in the space at all times; attendees should abide by 6-foot distance guidelines.

Note: The City of Moorhead reserves the right to change these guidelines with limited advance notice. At present, these attendance guidance only pertains to Moorhead City Council meetings.
