On 8/11/20 at approximately 5:18 PM, Moorhead Police and Fire/Rescue, along with FM Ambulance, responded to 1108 Belsly Boulevard for a vehicle that collided with a garage. The driver was moving his vehicle a short distance near the apartment building when it is believed he had a medical event that resulted in him losing control of his vehicle. His vehicle drove into the side of a garage which also caused damage to another vehicle inside. He was conscious and alert when first responders arrived. He was not wearing a seatbelt. He was not injured as a result of the crash. No one else was injured during this incident. There are no criminal charges resulting from this incident.
Juan Manuel Alanis (61 years old) was transported to Sanford Hospital for treatment. His current condition is not known.
