Officers Respond to Disturbance Call

On Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at approximately 3:30 am, officers responded to the 100 block of 16 St South for a disturbance involving multiple people. The initial information provided by the caller was that there were guns involved in the incident. During the investigation, there was no proof that guns were used, but multiple parties were fighting, and makeshift weapons and a knife were involved. Involved parties know each other, and the disturbance focuses on incidents that occurred at various locations during the evening.

At least one party has sought medical attention. No one is currently in custody. Formal charges will be determined later in the investigation.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Moorhead Police Department with this incident.
