Remote Meeting Procedure for Moorhead Human Rights Commission Meetings

Moorhead Human Rights Commission offers virtual ways to participate

To comply with COVID-19 public health recommendations, the June 24 Moorhead Human Rights Commission meeting will be held using virtual meeting technology. The Human Rights Commission Chair and Vice Chair will be present in the City Council Chambers along with some city staff. Other Commissioners will participate remotely. Please note that a quorum of Human Rights Commission will be present at 4:30 pm to test the equipment prior to the start of the meeting.

As part of the meeting, Moorhead Human Rights Commission will be conducting a Civil Rights discussion, providing an opportunity for public testimony. In the interest of time, the discussion will allow for 15 citizens to speak to the Commission for 3 minutes each. Those citizens wishing to address the Commission must register prior to the meeting and have the capability of joining the online meeting via Webex. Citizens to speak will be chosen on a first come, first served basis.
