The Moorhead Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 64 year-old male named David Smith.  Mr. Smith has recently been staying in Moorhead with family and is not familiar with the area.  Mr. Smith was last seen in the 1300 block of 34^th Avenue South Moorhead at approximately 5:30PM.  Mr. Smith has medical concerns that may cause him to be disorientated.  He is described as a Native American male, 5’9, and 150 lbs with grey and brown hair cut in a “mullet” style.  He was last seen wearing a green flannel shirt, blue jeans and using a cane for support.  If you have any information about Mr. Smith’s whereabouts, please contact the Red River Regional Dispatch Center at 701-451-7660 and ask to speak with the on-duty Moorhead Police supervisor.
