NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Moorhead will hold a public hearing at 5:45 pm on April 27, 2020 to consider Eng. Project No. 20-A2-6, consisting of Mill & Overlay and Street Rehabilitation street improvements in the area between 3 and 6 Ave S and 11 and 14 St S. The estimated cost of the improvements is $765,000. 

You are further notified that it is proposed to make these improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.011 through 429.111, as amended. The area proposed to be assessed for the improvements includes all properties abutting the following streets:

4 and 5 Ave S between 11 and 14 St S
12 St S between 3 and 5 Ave S
13 St S between 3 and 6 Ave S

A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment will be available at the hearing. Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to the proposed improvements will be heard at this meeting.

The Moorhead City Council is currently operating under an emergency ordinance due to COVID-19. Until further notice, Moorhead City Hall is closed to the public and City Council meetings are being held virtually to allow the public to hear and see the City Council meetings.

Public participation is and continues to remain important to the City during this time of emergency conditions. The City’s Public Participation Guidance page at cityofmoorhead.com/COVID19 gives information on how to participate before and during the public hearing portion of the City Council meeting while City Hall is closed to the public due to COVID-19.
