Moorhead Aggravated Robbery

On October 23, 2019 at 4:08 PM the Moorhead Police responded to the 1600 block of Belsly Boulevard for a report of an aggravated robbery. The suspect used a knife to take property from a victim and fled the scene on foot. The victim in this case did not sustain any physical injuries that required immediate medical attention. The victim’s property was later recovered along with a knife that was believed to have been used in the robbery. The suspect and victim were not known to each other.

Several leads are being pursued to identify and locate the suspect in this case. The suspect is described as a younger black male possibly in his late teens or early twenties with an average build. The male was last seen wearing a black jacket with a red stripe, darker colored jeans and dark shoes.

The suspect in this case has not been identified and is at large. If anyone has any information regarding the identity or location of the suspect in this case do not try and approach them and contact the Moorhead Police Department at 218.299.5120.

Moorhead Police were assisted by the Clay County Sheriffs Office during this incident. This is an active investigation and there will be no further information released at this time.
