Construction Update: SE Main|20 St|21 St Underpass Project

The “shoo-fly” railroad track reopened August 7 after a slope failure that occurred on August 5. The “shoo-fly” track is being closely monitored and the shoring design is being reviewed.

During this monitoring stage, work has shifted to other areas of the project further away from the tracks. This includes the reconstruction of 21 St between 1 Ave S & 2 Ave S near Moorhead High School which is estimated to open to traffic on or about August 26. It is estimated that work will begin again on the railroad bridges on or about August 23.
