On March 4, 2019 at approximately 8:45pm Moorhead Police Officers responded to 1003 22^nd Avenue South for a report of a male victim that had been stabbed multiple times. The victim was located and transported to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo. The extent of the victim’s injuries are not known to law enforcement at this time. During the investigation it was determined that the suspect and victim are associates.  The Fargo Police Department assisted with the investigation and located the suspect in Fargo. The suspect has been identified as Nicholas James Herner (27).  He was taken to the Cass County Jail where he was held for 2nd Degree Assault (Felony) charges for Moorhead Police.
