At around 7:50 am on Friday 3/28/18, the Moorhead Police Department responded to a single vehicle crash in north Moorhead. The crash occurred in the 1200 block of 11th Street North. The vehicle went off the roadway and struck a utility pole on the boulevard, causing a power outage for residents in that neighborhood. Moorhead Public Service responded and restored power.
The driver of the vehicle was unresponsive when first responders arrived. The driver was an adult male who was taken to an area hospital for treatment. We don't know if he was having a medical problem prior to the crash or if his injuries were due to the crash. The investigation is ongoing but no charges are expected.
