On March 5, 2018, at approximately 2232 hours, Moorhead Officers were sent to the Grand Inn at 810 Belsly Blvd to investigate a report of a stabbing.  Upon arrival, they learned the victim, a 41 year old male, had been stabbed twice in the side and he also had a cut on his wrist.  The victim was transported by FM Ambulance to be treated at Essentia Hospital.  The injuries do not appear to be life threatening. 

 With the assistance of the Clay County Sheriff's Department, officers made contact with the suspect at his residence.  Based on the statements and the evidence gathered, they arrested this man for 2nd Degree Assault with a deadly weapon.  He is being held at the Clay County Jail.  He has been identified as 57 year old Frank Muniz of Moorhead.
