The Moorhead Police Department is working with the Concordia College Security Department to try to locate a missing Concordia Student, Vanessa Githinji.  Githinji is an exchange student from Kenya.  She was last seen on December 12, 2017, just after 5:00 PM as she was leaving the Dining Services area in the Knutson Center where she works. She was wearing black pants, black boots, a green and blue plaid shirt, a dark winter coat with a fur edged hood.  She was carrying a black back pack with black and white sides.  She is 5'4" tall, 140 pounds with brown eyes and long black hair.

It's finals week at Concordia and Vanessa missed two of her finals and has missed work today.  This is very unusual behavior according to her friends as she excels in school and doesn't know anyone in the area other than on campus.  We are asking anyone who may have seen her after 5 PM on Tuesday, December 12, to call our dispatch center at (701) 451-7660 and ask to speak with a Moorhead Police Supervisor.  There is no further information to release at this time.
