Police News Releases

The Moorhead Police Department is asking for the public's assistance with locating a juvenile runaway.  Chawna May Mueller (13 years old from Moorhead) did not return home after school on March 3, 2017.  Moorhead Police have exhausted investigative leads to find her.  She is believed to be in the Fargo-Moorhead or North Dakota-Kidder County areas.  There is no additional information that we can provide at this time as to where she may be, vehicle descriptions, or who she may be with.  We are requesting the public's help with locating Chawna Mueller and ask that anyone that may have helpful information call their local law enforcement agency.
