At 7:47 pm on January 28, Moorhead officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 1200 block of 15 Avenue North after an injured male waived down a Minnesota State Trooper patrolling in the area. Officers found a 24 year old male with multiple stab wounds. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of the serious, but non-life threatening injuries. The investigation found that a 30 year old female was responsible for the injuries inflicted on the male. Investigators say the two know each other and there is no danger to the public as it was not a random attack. Investigators are still working the investigation to determine appropriate charges for the incident. Moorhead Police will release additional details via news release when they are available.
