Transit Passenger Shelter Maintenance Services 

Notice is hereby given that the Cities of Fargo, North Dakota, and Moorhead, Minnesota, will receive Proposals at the Metro Transit Garage 650 23 Street North, Fargo, ND 58102, for transit passenger shelter maintenance services until 2 pm on Friday, December 30, 2016.  Proposals received after the specified date and time will be considered late proposals and will not be opened or considered for award. 

The Cities will jointly contract for and purchase transit passenger shelter maintenance services for the coordinated Metro Area Transit system.  Tasks would include washing windows, sweeping, removing trash and yard waste, etc.  This contract will not include snow removal services.

All bidders are notified that disadvantaged and women-owned business enterprises are encouraged to submit responses to this request.  The Cities of Fargo and Moorhead will ensure that respondents to this request will not be discriminated against based on sex, race, color, creed or national origin in consideration of an award. 

Up to 50% of the funding for the transit passenger shelter maintenance services contracts will be provided through a Federal Transit Administration operating grant, Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) #20.507. 

All bidders will be required to certify that they are not on the Comptroller General’s list of ineligible contractors.  

The Cities reserve the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities, irregularities, or technicalities in the bidding process.
