Moorhead neighborhood residents and city maintenance staff have reported an uptick in the amount of unattended dog waste on public and private property, making mowing difficult and unpleasant.  Please be responsible and clean up after your pets:

  • Carry a plastic bag when walking your pets to pick up and dispose of waste properly
  • Even in your own yard, clean up pet waste frequently to prevent odors and insect infestation
  • Leash and monitor your pets on the walking trails, sidewalks, and in public parks
  • Social dogs can be off leash in the Moorhead Dog Park, but owners must still clean up after them

 Your neighbors thank you for your cooperation!  It makes for a healthier community.
