Clay County Public Health and the Moorhead City Council are interested in hearing your thoughts and
feedback on a proposed ordinance relating to tobacco.
The proposed ordinance includes:
T21 Legislation: Compliance with Federal Tobacco 21 legislation which raises the minimum legal sales age for all
tobacco products from 18 to 21
Flavored Tobacco Restriction: Commencing January 1, 2022, a restriction on the sale of all flavored tobacco products,
including but not limited to flavored cigarettes, smokeless, chewing and all other tobacco
products (menthol products included)
