CDBG Public Meeting for 2020-2024 5-Year Plan Development

September 25 at the Moorhead Public Library

Please attend this meeting to discuss community development needs. The City of Moorhead will soon be preparing its (2020-2024) 5-Year Consolidated Plan and 2020 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development. The plans are used to allocate Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, assistance provided by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to promote affordable housing and economic opportunities for low-to-moderate income persons. The 5-year Consolidated Plan sets strategies and goals for CDBG resources. The (2015-2019) 5-year plan may be viewed on the City’s website

The facility is accessible for persons with mobility impairments. In advance of the meeting, alternative formats of this information or accommodation for persons with disabilities will be made upon request (10 hours notice is required). To make arrangements for services call 218.299.5434; for TDD/Relay service dial 711.

You are welcome to attend the meeting. If you would prefer, please share your comments, ideas, or concerns regarding housing and community development via the City's website or contact the Community Development Program Administrator at 218.299.5375.

Additional opportunities for input: It is anticipated that a draft (2020-2024) 5-Year Consolidated Plan and the 2020 Action Plan will be posted online in mid-October for a 30-day comment period, with a public hearing before the Moorhead City Council October 28, 2019. The Mayor and Council are expected to consider approval of the plans on November 12, 2019, after the comment period ends. It will then be submitted to HUD.
